The Chili Oil

Ingredients:
- 5 star anise
- 1 chinese cinnamon stick
- 2 bay leaves
- 3 tablespoons Sichuan peppercorns
- 2 black cardamom pods
- 4 nugs sand ginger
- 2 teaspoons cloves
- 2 garlic cloves
- 3 cups of oil
- 1¼ cups chili flakes
Steps:
cook at 200-225°F for an hour. then pour over the flakes.
